Research and market: the world's viscose fiber and filament production fell

in the past seven years, the global viscose fiber/filament production increased at a rate of 4.1% per year, but in 2009, the production decreased by 13% to 2.4 million tons. Staple fibers decreased by 13% to 2.1 million tons, and filaments decreased by 9% to 340000 tons

filament business continued its long-term downward trend. This situation was further exacerbated by the glanzstoff fire in Victoria in January 2008. The company produces 10500 tons of industrial yarn and 1000 tons of textile yarn. Due to the technical and infeasible economic situation, glanzstoff group decided to announce on the evening of November 16 that it would stop the production of its St. plten factory at the end of 008. Flat demand also forced century textiles industries Ltd. to suspend viscose production at the end of February 2009. Enka group also plans to close its textile viscose production plant in elsterberg, Germany, which was established in 1909 and closed at the end of June 2009 due to a reduction of orders by more than 20%

although nonwovens, textiles and flame retardant products have always had a strong demand for viscose staple fibers, viscose staple fibers have been negatively affected by overcapacity. Since September 2006, the price gap between viscose staple fibers and polyester staple fibers has become increasingly unfavorable

the output of viscose staple fiber and filament decreased by 13% in 2008. 86000 tons of production capacity was increased that year, most of which were short fibers. Filament production capacity increased by only 30000 tons. Staple fiber production decreased by 13%, while filament production decreased by 9%

to further understand the possibility of industrialization of this research and development achievement, the production of viscose staple fiber in China is reduced by 13%, and the production of viscose filament is reduced by 6%. However, the consumption fell faster, the consumption of viscose fiber decreased by 14%, and the consumption of viscose filament decreased by 23% in places such as experimental grounding wire and control box shell. In that year, China exported 154000 tons of viscose fiber, accounting for almost 30% of Global trade
